Ameriabank launched its innovative MyBusiness.am platform during the Real Business Conference in Yerevan on 18-19 October. This digital platform is designed to meet the needs of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), allowing business clients to access banking services online without visiting a physical branch. Karen Karamyan, head of SME Client Development at Ameriabank, stressed the importance of SMEs in economic development, noting their growing contribution to Armenia's GDP, which is currently around 25%.
The platform offers a comprehensive range of services, including account opening, mobile banking, loans and electronic payments, all available remotely. Karamyan highlighted that the SME customer base has increased sixfold in recent years, while the loan portfolio has grown fourfold. Arpine Harutyunyan, head of MyBusiness.am, added that the platform aims to redefine banking by providing both financial and non-financial support, becoming a trusted partner for businesses.
The platform also uses machine learning for online scoring, allowing for paperless loan approvals. Ameriabank continues to advance its digitalisation efforts, positioning itself as a key player in Armenia's financial and technological landscape.
