Macedonias CPI inflation slows down to 3.3% y/y in October 2011.

Macedonia's CPI has increased by 3.3% y/y in October, decelerating from 3.4% y/y in September. The increase in food prices remained unchanged at 4.3% y/y. Annual consumer price growth slowed down in the following groups: tobacco and beverages; clothing and footwear; housing; hygiene and health; restaurants and hotels; and other services. Acceleration in the y/y growth of consumer prices was registered in the groups culture and entertainment, as well as transport and communication services. The retail price index rose by 3.8% y/y in October, the same growth rate as the one reported in the previous month. CPI inflation has been 4.1% y/y in Jan-Oct.
