Russian President Vladimir Putin is trusted by 81.5% of Russians and 78.4% of respondents approve of his performance, according to the weekly survey by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Centre (VTsIOM), released on July 19.

This data reflects a stable trust level for Putin, with no change from the previous week, although his approval rating saw a slight decrease of 0.6 percentage points.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is trusted by 61.8% of respondents, while 34.3% trust the leader of the Communist Party, Gennady Zyuganov. The leader of the Just Russia party, Sergei Mironov, has the trust of 28.7%, the head of the LDPR, Leonid Slutsky, is trusted by 20.1%, and Alexei Nechayev, leader of the New People faction, has the trust of 8.4% of respondents.

The survey also reported the approval ratings for various political parties. The United Russia party has a support level of 38.6%, a decrease of 0.6 percentage points from the previous week. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation saw a slight increase to 9.7%, while the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) decreased to 8.6%. The New People party has a support level of 5.9%, and A Just Russia – Patriots – For Truth is at 3.7%.

In another survey by the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM), 79% of respondents confirmed their trust in Putin, and 81% rated his performance as "rather well." Additionally, 55% rated the work of the Cabinet of Ministers positively, while 57% approved of Prime Minister Mishustin’s performance.

Dmitry Peskov, the Russian president’s press secretary, noted the high level of support for Putin among the population, attributing it to the president's "daily responsible work." Peskov also mentioned that the trust in Putin is reflected in the results of various polls, indicating a generally stable situation.

In the presidential elections held from March 15 to 17, Putin won with 87.28% of the vote, with a record turnout of 77.49%, the highest in Russia's modern history.
