Owner of North Macedonia’s Gley streaming platform to launch IPO

Gley, launched in 2021, is the first streaming platform in North Macedonia.

Svod Master, the owner of North Macedonia’s streaming platform Gley, plans to launch an initial public offering on the Macedonian Stock Exchange, seeking to hike its capital and expand projects, the company said in a press release on its website on January 29.

“This will be the first IPO on the domestic stock exchange from a company that, through continuous promotion and development of digital services, maintains its high competitiveness in a globally growing market,” Svod Master noted.

The company plans to use the raised funds to invest in original productions and expand the purchase of children’s and foreign programmes.

Gley, launched in 2021, is the first streaming platform in North Macedonia. It has over 80,000 subscriptions from households.

“At the end of last year, in addition to subscriptions, we introduced ad packages that bring another revenue opportunity. We have excellent cooperation with the two major telecom operators as distribution and sales channels,” the company noted.
