International engineering and design company Sweco has acquired Estonian project management company Vealeidja. Vealeidja has 35 employees, and currently operates in the organization of owner supervision, expert analysis, and construction procurements. The company indicates that the acquisition will allow to broaden its services in Estonian market and strengthen its positions, as currently the company has 62 employees working in Estonia. Par Hammarberg, president of Sweco Central and Eastern Europe, indicated that the market conditions improved in Estonia in 2011, and the company expects to see a strong positive trend in infrastructure, energy, water, and environment sectors. |
