SplxAI, a cybersecurity company focused on agentic AI systems, has raised €6.45mn in seed funding.

The round was led by LAUNCHub Ventures, with participation from Rain Capital, Inovo, Runtime Ventures, DNV Ventures and South Central Ventures.

The funding will be used to further develop SplxAI’s platform, which provides automated security testing, remediation, and monitoring for AI agents and applications.

As organisations adopt more advanced AI systems, new and often poorly understood security risks have emerged. SplxAI’s platform identifies these vulnerabilities by simulating potential attack scenarios and analyzing AI behavior across text, image, and voice-based agents. The company also offers continuous monitoring to detect and respond to threats in real time.

Stan Sirakov of LAUNCHub Ventures has joined the company’s board, and Sandy Dunn, formerly chief information security officer (CISO) at Brand Engagement Network, has been appointed to the same position at SplxAI to lead governance and compliance efforts.

SplxAI launched its platform in August 2024 and reports 127% quarter on quarter growth. Clients include KPMG, Infobip, Brand Engagement Network and Glean. The company also released an open-source tool called Agentic Radar, designed to identify security gaps in AI agent workflows through static code analysis.

The platform is positioned as an alternative to manual security testing, which is often slower, more expensive and less scalable when applied to fast-evolving AI systems.

LAUNCHub Ventures is a venture capital firm based in Sofia, and is known for investing across Central, Eastern and Southeast Europe, including Bulgaria and Croatia.
