An IMF team will visit Macedonia this week, a release on the webpage of the Funds resident representative office informs. The team will be headed by Ivanna Vladkova Hollar, the incoming IMF mission chief for Macedonia. The IMF experts will have various meetings between Dec 12-17, holding discussions with senior government and central bank officials, as well as a few private sector companies and international and civil society organizations. The aim of the staff visit is to examine the countrys economic performance this year and to discuss economic forecasts and policies for 2013. The team will not conduct a review of the Precautionary and Liquidity Line (PLL), which is expected to expire in mid-January 2013. |
